How to Prepare for A Hailstorm
To reduce hailstorm damage to your home, take a look at your roof now, especially if you haven’t examined it in a while. Closely look at the shingles to see if there are any missing or worn and curled or aging roof; consider getting the roof replaced before the hail season begins.
During a hailstorm, stay indoors. To prevent and avoid flying debris, close the curtains or blinds and stay away from skylights, windows, or glass doors to avoid potential broken glass. Park your vehicle under a covered area or inside a garage.
Hail storms may not last long but they can cause real damage. If you have experience with hail damage that causes problems to your home or business, give our team a call. SERVPRO of Victoria is here to help when mother nature strikes!
